Many photographers get into the mentality of thinking that rainy days are a wash. They don’t have to be. The most important thing here is to protect your equipment but this is where my oh-so-humble advice comes in. As the mother of a one-year-old, I quite frankly don’t have the money to be spending on fancy camera sleeves or weather sealant. So here’s the deal: Ziplocs and scotch tape work fine. If you don’t have tape (which I am currently out of), you can use a rubber band or do your best to keep the bag flush against your lens.
Here’s some pics to show that you don’t have to stay indoors, just because it’s raining.
Who says rainy days are for the birds? They don’t have to be!
