St. Patty’s Day

The Druid's Staff

Here’s to the druid and Celtic “snakes”. Cheers.

As today is St. Patrick’s Day, I would like to take a moment to point out the meaning behind this day.  First of all, snakes are badass and not native to Ireland.  Secondly, St. Patrick was Italian.  The reason for this day is to honor the man who drove the druids and other Celtic pagans out of Ireland.  They were the snakes.  He brought Catholicism and the people have been fighting and killing each other ever since.

So to you, fellow druids, I lift my horn of mead and have a slice of Rockland Bakery Irish soda bread in your honor.
