Stonecrop Gardens

Published June 15, 2015 by KEPRI

Went to Stonecrop again.  I finally introduced my good buddy, Haydon Hall to the beauty that is our local horticultural center.  There were many massive bullfrogs and some decent sized green frogs.  Since it’s their mating season we were lucky enough to see them puff up as they made their deep, resonant calls.  Haydon was even lucky enough to catch a couple of males fighting!

If you live in the area of Putnam/Westchester/Duchess, I highly recommend visiting Stonecrop Gardens.  It’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon and the scenery is just gorgeous.  There is something different blooming at all times!  The garden is open from 10-5, April-October.
