Rhiannon

Published September 15, 2015 by KEPRI

These photos are from my 2012 journey to England.  It was there I photographed for Megalithomania and got to visit some extraordinary places, including Stonehenge.

The photos below are of The White Horse, the Glastonbury Abbey, and the Glastonbury Tor.  Glastonbury, or the Glassy Isle, is the legendary home of Rhiannon, Welsh goddess of horses, birds, and inner strength.  It is said that on misty mornings she can be seen riding her white horse along The Tor.  While The White Horse is not in Glastonbury, it does have strong connections to Rhiannon.

So here’s to my favorite goddess.  May her strength guide me in the right direction for the remainder of this, the year of the horse.

    • Thank you!! I love your photography as well. You capture the English landscape so beautifully. How I miss it so. And you shoot with Pentax, so of course you’re an instant favorite in my book. 🙂
