On Sunday, October 11 the Kent Conservation Advisory Committee held the Nimham Fire Tower Festival. The event commemorated ten years since the tower was opened to the public after undergoing major restoration from 2000-2005. Periodically I volunteer with the Kent CAC to help maintain the tower and mountain. Sunday was no exception. I aided in the set up and then did what I do best: shoot photos. I hope I captured the spirit of this wonderful event, for another of the likes won’t be seen until 2025!
It was an amazing day and when I went up there tonight the energy was still present. I think this event will live in the minds of folks for a long time to come. I know I certainly won’t forget it!
