I’m promoting the work of a good friend of mine.  Her name is Caitlin Smalley and she is quite talented in the realm of concert photography.  As a fellow metalhead and photographer, I love her work.  And I don’t love just anybody’s work, regardless of how close we are.  She has talent.  Go show her some love and “like” her page!

This photo is incredible.  I love Egyptology and Esna (once known as Iyunet or Ta-Senet) will always hold a special place in my heart.  All I can say is wow!

Historical Image Restoration

This is one of those internet lists I don’t mind sharing.  Here you will find forty-two restored images of the past.  The oldest dates to 1865.  In a photo is worth a thousand words, then certainly these must each be a novel.  Beautiful, haunting, and telling.  The restoration artists did an incredible job.
